Taphole protective layer castable

In the early stage of the blast furnace, the ramming material is used to make the taphole protective layer. This protective layer can maintain the production under the condition of low output. However, as the output is continuously increased, the ramming material is often damaged and muddy, which affects the depth of the taphole. As the result, the slag and iron couldn’t flow out of the blast furnace completely, which affects the stability of the furnace and increases the working intensity. The taphole protective layer castables produced by our company can effectively improve the contradiction between the continuous increase of production and the shortening of the life of the iron mouth, and at the same time ensure the stability of the operation before the furnace, in which the amount of iron, the amount of slag and the number of taps are more than protective layer made by ramming mass. The mud sleeve made by the material has been greatly improved.
